De Koninggroep was founded in 1994 by father and son Cees and Huub de Koning. What started as a family business in ship and yacht painting has grown into an international group of seven operating companies with more than 200 employees.
We take a practical approach and hold our own work to a high standard. No grand claims, but clear agreements and a transparent way of working. We contribute during preparation, stay involved throughout execution, and remain accountable for the end result.

Our inspectors are certified to Frosio Level 3 and NACE Levels 1 and 2.
We adopt new techniques once they have proven their value in real-world use. No sooner. For example, we use Propspeed to protect propellers and propulsion systems, and Lightspeed for underwater lighting. No experimentation on projects where there’s no room for error — only proven solutions that limit maintenance and enhance performance.

Our head office is located in Oosterhout. From there, as well as from our locations in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Makkum, we carry out projects across the Netherlands. We have in-house facilities for blasting and spray application work. When a project calls for it, we can also operate internationally.
From the Drimmelen Yacht Centre, we support yacht projects with dedicated facilities and immediate access to the yard. The site provides space and facilities purpose-built for yacht refits, maintenance, and preservation work.
